An in-depth look at the art of voiceover, in this workshop you’ll get plenty of hands-on experience to help you discover your strengths, recognise your habits and improve your skills across a range of genres. Experiment with different read styles, clock up some serious miles behind the mic and watch your classmates do the same in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll come away with stronger techniques and a deeper understanding of how to achieve more versatility in the booth.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Theatre Arts, majoring in Acting. Her voiceover career began in 2002 during her 10 year stint in professional theatre. Voice work was a welcome addition to her theatre income and the two careers went hand in hand until Sarah started her family and decided to step back from the stage. She balanced motherhood with part-time voiceover work until setting up her own home studio in 2016. Since then she has carved out a full time voiceover career for herself, working mainly from her own studio for clients all over the world.
She knows her way around commercials, explainers, promotional & instructional videos, e-learning, audiobooks, on hold messages, audio guides, meditations, sleep stories, video games, cartoons, audio dramas, and pretty much every other VO genre you can think of.
Sarah finds great joy through sharing her insights, industry knowledge and performance experience.
