This is a two day workshop designed for the actor who wants to crack the US market.
Charles Jazz Terrier is an international actor known for roles such as Chad in Legacies (2020-21), Lewis Knox in Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries (2019), Jackson in Occupation (2018), Danny Winter in Wentworth (2018) Clay Balir Neighbours (2013).
Over two days Charles will cover everything an actor needs to know about auditioning, booking, performing and pitching for the American market.
Day one will cover the business aspects actors need to navigate including what makes a great US reel, working visas and international representation. Day two will include filming an audition style US scene directed by Charlie.
This workshop is open to participants (who will perform and film) and auditors (who will watch and have the opportunity to ask questions). Participants will have the opportunity to film a US scene with Charlie, receiving direction. Auditors have an open position to watch, ask questions and participate in discussion.
Auditing positions are open to all actors, no application required. Participant positions are limited and by application only. Please email producer@imperfectcreatives.com with a headshot, CV + demo reel if you would like a participant spot..

Imperfect Creatives’ facilitators and artists are working professionals and classes may need to be rescheduled due to other work. You will receive as much notice as we’re able to give. Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the start date of a course and will receive a credit of the fees paid to be used towards future classes. In the event of missing classes, we cannot reimburse fees paid, but will endeavor to find a replacement if it suits. Please note: this may not always be possible. Our payment plans are tailored to each person. If you fail to attend classes, these payments will still need to be paid in full. If you are struggling financially, please email accounts@imperfectcreatives.com to adjust your payment plan.
