Playing in Genre is coming to SYDNEY.
This course is designed for students to explore the actors’ obligation to genre, in the context of cinematic performance.
Over three days, students will be guided through three different scenes and given tools to deliver scenes that allow the actors to execute performances that are both connected and appropriate to the chosen genre.
Each scene will be filmed in a cinematic style with professional broadcast quality equipment, in three different custom sets with professional lighting and art department. Actors will receive three full scenes in locked off cinematic shots.
This course is open to all ages. Places are limited.
We will be running three classes.
Class 1: Monday 31st, Wednesday 2nd & Friday 4th: 9am – 12pm
Class 2: Monday 31st, Wednesday 2nd & Friday 4th: 1pm – 4pm
Class 3: Monday 31st, Wednesday 2nd & Friday 4th: 5pm – 8pm

Terms + Conditions
Imperfect Creatives’ facilitators and artists are working professionals and classes may need to be rescheduled due to other work. You will receive as much notice as we’re able to give. Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the start date of a course and will receive a credit of the fees paid to be used towards future classes. In the event of missing classes, we cannot reimburse fees paid, but will endeavor to find a replacement if it suits. Please note: this may not always be possible. Our payment plans are tailored to each person. If you fail to attend classes, these payments will still need to be paid in full. If you are struggling financially, please email accounts@imperfectcreatives.com to adjust your payment plan.
