Imperfect Creatives is an artist-focused production company and education provider based on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Founded in 2020 by industry professionals tired of artists being mistreated and overlooked, Imperfect has rapidly expanded into an everyday name in the South-East Queensland acting and production communities.

Brie is a North Queensland-born storyteller who is driven to make art that moves.
In 2015 she graduated acting school from the University of Southern Queensland and then went on to tour across East Australia with The Grin & Tonic Theatre Troupe for two years. Since touring, Brie has works professionally as an actor, voice artist, workshop facilitator, theatre producer, comedy show host and once upon a time, a kids DJ (random, we know.)
Her work has her playing a comedic Marie Antionette in The Time Travel Cafe in Brisbane in May 2021. Stage Whispers describes Brie as having… ” a gift for physical comedy and takes some brave risks, especially in the improvisation”. In 2019, Brie produced and performed in ‘FLOOD’ a part of Anywhere Theatre Festival which won an Anywhere Award and universally glowing reviews. Following this success, Brie produced and performed in ‘Sometimes It’s Hot Like The Sun’ in late 2021.
As a voice actor, Brie loans her vocal chords to various companies including Flight Centre Travel Group, Suncorp, Queensland Writers Centre, The Lott, Amazon Flex, and Tourism & Events QLD to name a few.
At Imperfect Creatives, Brie is your first responder. She’ll be there to direct and manage your projects with you, so you can focus on the important stuff.

Jack is a camera operator, photographer and production designer who will be your ‘yes man’ on your next project.
After studying at the University of Southern Queensland, Jack joined the team at the Seven Network shooting and editing news for their flagship state news bulletins. Outside of Seven he has created marketing material for entertainment and theatre companies, designed audio and lighting for an award winning theatre production, built a studio and directed live television content for online distribution.
In 2020, Jack departed his career in news and began working full-time, producing content for television on 7Mate’s show ‘Step Outside with Paul Burt’.
Jack has expertise in the whole spectrum of video content production including camera, audio, lighting and editing. He can also build sets, write and has killer dance moves (what can’t he do?!). When directing he’ll tell it how it is and gently guide you to that tear jerking performance we always knew you had inside you.

Frank Godoy is an animator, graphic designer and editor who teams up with Imperfect Creatives on big projects. He designed the iconic ice cream logo and helped paint it on to our building. He’s an all round legend!

Craig is a Brisbane-based filmmaker with experience in running projects on a national scale. Craig’s films have been screened at local and international Film Festivals, including winning Best Australian Short Film at Sanctuary Cove Film Festival for Best Man.
Craig works with Imperfect Creatives in Creative Production, managing client briefs and coordinating the team’s production slate. Craig also works with actors in delivering original showreel scenes from conception through to finished script.

Murran Kain is a Brisbane born performer who has worked and trained throughout Australia, the US and the UK in musical theatre film/ television and as a vocalist, since the age of 5.
At Imperfect, Murran trains our young artists, and is passionate about giving them challenges in a supportive environment to see them reach their full potential.

Kayla is a vibrant young actress who has made herself recognisable in the local film industry.
Kayla is an associate producer at Imperfect Creatives and handles day-to-day operations. You will find Kayla behind the camera filming your scenes, upstairs in our office editing your tapes or even saying a friendly hello as you walk in our doors.

Connie is a Gold Coast based actor with a passion for all things creative.
Here at Imperfect, she is an associate producer and works with the team on editing scenes and headshots, assisting with headshot shoots and helping artists have the best experience they can in the studio.
