SCHOOLS

Empowering the next generation of artists through an industry lens

From curriculum workshops to professional development, we bring actual industry experience into your classroom, wherever your classroom happens to be.

Each program is built around real industry practice, what a working artist actually does, and how we get students ready to do it.

MEDIA ARTS

ACTING

ADVERTISING

FILMMAKING

FREELANCE FILM4KERS

Narrative filmmaking basics.
Gr5-Gr12
Duration:90 (minimum) - 120 minutes

Your students jump straight into the fast-paced action of a working set. They learn the mechanics of visual storytelling, through camera angles, shot lists and working in a team. We guide them to direct, shoot, and edit their own short scenes.

30 SECONDS TO SELL

Create a 30-second commercial.
Gr3-Gr10
Duration:  90 (minimum)

Visual advertising relies on layered elements and your class will discover exactly how technical choices create meaning for an audience. We help them shoot, light and edit a punchy thirty-second commercial.

ACTING FOR SCREEN

Emotional and grounded work on screen.
Gr3-Gr10
Duration:  90 (minimum) - 120 minutes

Students connect body and voice to perform confidently on camera, understanding how technical elements affect their performance. We guide the process from initial script analysis, rehearsals to a finished, filmed scene.

DON'T FEAR THE GEAR

The gear you need is already in your classroom.

If you use iPads, DSLRs, or phones, you’ll learn how choices outside the camera itself (lighting, sound, environment) make every shot better. Bring your equipment and gain practical insights to enhance media arts in your classroom.

IMPERFECT SCHOOL

Open wide, come inside.

Classic children’s television provides a fantastic framework for delivering core concepts. We show you how screen production integrates with learning across the entire curriculum. You don’t ‘fit in’ with Media Arts, it fits in with you.

02

For staff & specialists

Professional development

Sessions for the staff teaching the next generation. Industry perspective designed to help you find clarity outside the curriculum headache.

TAILORED MEDIA ARTS WORKSHOPS

Driven by what you need.

Lighting, sound design, post-production, pre-production, or directing, whatever it is, tell us the assessment or the outcome you’re after, and we’ll work backwards from there. We also consult on equipment. We'll maximise your current setup or save your budget from things you don't need.

TAILORED WORKSHOPS

Need something specific?

Screenwriting, voice acting, devising, design, or audition prep, whatever it is, tell us your learning outcomes or next assessment and we’ll design a session to match. We cover a range of creative disciplines, supporting everyone from first-timers to your most seasoned students.
